BIOGRAPHY

Henri-Louis DUPRAY :

 

Born November 13, 1841 in Sedan (Ardennes), died in April 1909 in Paris. 19th century, French painter. Pupil of Leon Cogniet and Pils, he participated in the Salon of Paris from 1863. He obtained a medal of third class in 1872 and second class in 1874. Dupray is decorated with the Legion of Honor in 1878. His portraits and his military subjects are removed from vivacity and know-how.
