Alphonse LALAUZE (1872-1941)
Paris, 1872 – Milly-la-Forêt, 1941 : History painter, he was the son of Adolphe Lalauze and the student of Edouard Detaille. He participated to exhibitions in Paris, particularly Salon des Artistes Français and obtained an honorable mention in 1899 and in 1900, as well as a thrid class medal. He was also Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur.
